NURS 211 - Intro to Professional Nursing |
This course introduces the student to a theoretical foundation for professional nursing practice. It focuses on nursing's historical origin, and its development throughout the years to present. Concepts discussed include nursing and related theories, and the nursing process, legal/eghical issues and other topics relevant to the practice of professional nursing. Prerequisite: admission into the nursing program, and permission of Dean or instructor.
