MATH 102 - Intermediate Algebra
Algebra for students who have not had second-level high school algebra or who need a refresher course in that level of algebra. Real numbers and operations, solving and graphing first degree equations and inequalities, solving systems of equations and quadratic equations, algebra of polynomials, radical and rational expressions and equations, exponential and logarithmic functions. Prerequisites: One year of high school algebra and MATH088 or equivalent/satisfactory score on ACT or Placement Exam. This course will not count toward a major or minor in mathematics. (4,0) 4
